About
Bon Bon's Market
Kimsey Parker Farms is an old Dairy Farm that has been in our family for over 83 years. Farmed at one time by Bula and Raymond Kimsey who lovingly worked the land, and they were well known and respected in the Blue Ridge Mountains near the Appalachian trail in Hiawassee Georgia.
The Parker name is the “result” of their one child, a daughter who married a Parker making the rest of us here on the property all Parkers. Kimsey Parker Farms being the” result”.
Over 200 acres of hills and fields, streams, mountain ridges, and serene beauty that is often so still it feels as though you are looking at a painting. Interestingly enough, the property is now divided by the major thoroughfare of the North Georgia Mountains, Highway 76 goes right through the middle giving over 100 acres on each side, making it prime to be a great Market resource for the locals and a mountain destination for travelers and tourists.
Bonny Parker had the idea of having her husband Michael build a cozy little Market that could accomplish such an opportunity and wanted to provide a great little retail experience with food, produce, staples, concession items, gifts, ice, firewood and more. What to name it was a question, Bon Bon is what Bonny’s grandchildren call her, therefore… Bon Bon’s Market at Kimsey Parker Farms was the “result”!
So, stop in, grab a sandwich or hotdog, some popcorn, ice cream or milkshake, maybe a good old cup of coffee and a piece of cake, or grab a meal to go or you might just find the right gift to take back home to that grandbaby or a friend. Bon Bon’s is the “result” of this being what her grandchildren call her, Bon Bon’s is different, Bon Bon’s is fun, and Bon Bon’s has good stuff just like when you went to your grandma’s house.
So come on into Bon Bon’s on Kimsey Parker Farms and see all our “RESULTS” from all the good stuff that happened and is still happening on our little wonderful old farm up here in the hills of North Georgia.
We look forward to seeing you!
